Chaa – Low height table

Chaa is a four seater, low height table, traditionally known as a chabudai in Japan. Inspired by chanoyu- the tea ceremony, this table is designed to comfortably sit 4 individuals on either side. The table has a lower shelf to accommodate all the table accessories that gives the table top a clean and finished look.

Low height seating creates an aura that bonds people together, and offers that much needed pause in our fast paced lifestyle. Sitting closer to the ground cross legged while dining and even working on your daily chores has been proven to be more efficient as it improves your overall blood flow and metabolism of the body.

Chaa is a digitally fabricated and hand finished piece in CARB certified Birchwood and hand finished with non-toxic oils. It can seat four people and works well with our multipurpose  stool, Aasan. The table comes in flat pack format and can be assembled in just seconds, without any additional hardware or tools. Chaa is especially designed to be one of our boldest products. It is an epitome of simple design, clean lines, and robust construction with beautiful natural grains that give a mesmerizing effect. The table is bound together with two brass rods which make chaa a real charmer.
